The Oklahoma Fur Bearers Alliance has many benefits for its members.

Membership includes a monthly publication called "The Trapper's Post" which is filled with information from the nation's best trappers and callers.

The Association has a fall convention. This is when the membership meets to discuss important issues regarding Oklahoma outdoorsman. There are always demonstrations on how to trap or call species here in Oklahoma. We host vendors who will have any trapping gear that you may need, or at least want. It's a great place for fellowship with people who share your respect for our natural resources and the love of the outdoors. Plus it's a great place to hear some tall trap line tales as well.

We also have a youth group whose main goal is to teach kids the things they need to know about trapping and calling. We put on a Youth Trapping Camp during Christmas break in December. This is when youths get to learn and run a real trap line during the season! They learn all aspects of trapping as well as properly utilizing the resource.
